Middle Eastern and Oriental culture inspire my designs, especially when it comes to color mixtures and combination. I love to spice up my jewelry.

I Love Turkish Ice-Cream (Dondurma) and Turkish coffee
I have a phobia of snakes. If I accidentally see a picture of one, I end up having nightmares!
I cannot imagine life without the Internet
I travel a lot, and have never really settled in one country more than 5-7 years at a time.
I enjoy photography :-)
What got you started crafting?
I have always had a passion for arts and crafts, and my mother suggested I take this passion seriously and turn a hobby into a part time business.
What is your source of inspiration?
Middle Eastern and Oriental culture inspire my designs, especially when it comes to color mixtures and combination. I love to spice up my jewelry.
What have you made recently?
I recently made a long strand necklace, brightly colored, with no two beads alike in the whole piece. I beaded together different shaped and colored Indian beads, and this gave it a sense of amazing uniqueness, since each bead was also handmade. A 100% handmade necklace.
Why are handmade crafts important to you?
Handmade items are creative and unique, and I love creativity. I enjoy wearing something that is different and makes me stand out from the crowd.
