What got you started crafting?

Well I guess, my parents. They were always drawing or painting sculpting something. I use to make Macrame necklaces when i was a kid. Then started drawing and painting in school. I am always creating.

What is your source of inspiration?

I offten look at colors in nature and then try to combine that with something that is man made. I look at it as they two things are compleatly opposite. Then its like a puzzle. Some take longer to work out than others and thats the creative part.

What have you made recently?

Right now I am working on what started out as...I think a bracelet. I began with a wire wraped stone that I was trying out some new things on. Then I came up with the great idea of doing Macrame with really fine wire. Well that is not only time consuming but very frustrating due to the strength of the wire. It has five strands of half knots and seed beads about 6 inches each, I have attached them in a chain on one side and the othe to the wire wrapped stone. Thats when I realized that it doesn't look quite right, so I added some flattend wire with some embelishment which broke after I attached. So I have reattached two new pieces andas it sits now, the piece is not done and I'm not sure what it is going to be....to be continued.

Where do you sell your crafts presently?

I sell on Etsy and to family and friends directly.

Why are handmade crafts important to you?

I love handmade because its not the same, often one of a kind. I get so sick of looking at things that look entirely the same. No thought, No creative desire in the product. It has no soul.
