Random Facts About You?

I'm allergic to the color brown.
My parents are from two different continents.
I want to be a paranormal investigator.

What got you started crafting?

I've always crafted. I believe it started when my grandmother taught me how to crochet as a child. I always have an overwhelming feeling to keep my hands busy. I call myself a mixed media artist. I'm always trying to find uses for discarded house hold objects.

What is your source of inspiration?

I find color inspirations from:
Under the sea.
In the sky.

I also find inspiration from crafts stores. I could spend hours upon hours just walking around and getting ideas while looking at the supplies and then purchasing them to follow those ideas through to completion.

Love and friendship are also huge inspirations for me as well. It's such a great feeling to give someone a gift that you made and see their face knowing that you made that item.

What have you made recently?

I recently went on a ring kick. My favorite out of the bunch would have to be the Mississippi Steam Boat ring (which is on Etsy).
This ring reminds of me of another time. It reminds me of reading Mark Twain growing up and how simple life used to be.

Where do you sell your crafts presently?

Mainly on Etsy. I also have a blog where I feature other artists and DIY projects. I also sell items to friends and family.

Why are handmade crafts important to you?

To me handmade means love. To me handmade means care. That is exactly what each one of my items is made out of. Love and Care. Nothing in my shop is mass manufactured by machines. I have touched every piece and every piece has touched me.
