Random Facts About You?

Love to travel and I have been almost around the world.

Have been a hospital volunteer since I was 18 years all. I am still active in the hospital where I live.

I am the proud mom of 3 daughters, 3 wonderful grand daughters and 1 active grand boy 3 years old.

Since I was young, I have been very active and I organized all the events from my big family, like Christmas, New Years, Birthdays, Wedding and my Parents Wedding Anniversaries. I enjoy to do this very much.

I have admired Mother Theresa of Calcutta and Prince Diane.

I am a perfectionist.

What got you started crafting?

Started whith this idea around October of 2011. I was out by the garden and a mosquito dropped in my glass.

Then, I started to figure how can I cover the glass. Went to some crafts stores to figure if I can do something for that problem and I did it.

I made two and they came nice. So I started to get all the materials I need it.

It took several items to try until I found the perfect one, so they will come out the way I wanted.

What is your source of inspiration?

Since I have always like to do different things with events an planning, make everything to look beautiful when we have company, I thought this new hobby was a wonderful idea. Most of all, it gives me so much peace of mind.

These items are done in 3 different stages, so they can be perfect. I don't like to rush to finish an item.

If I feel, It does look perfect, I start from point No. 1

What have you made recently?

I was just in Mexico City and went to 2 different places where they sell different materials. I bought a lot of different colors, textures, etc etc.

They are all different. I told one of my sisters and she told me it was a good idea and she told me why dont you make 12 of them before you go home. I did it and she loved them. Before I flying back, she saw the other 16 that I have made them and she told me she had a breakfast with 15 ladies. I gave them for her breakfast and she gave one to each of them and they love it . Also, I gave her an organza bag with a my seal.

This item will make a Wonderful Gift.

Where do you sell your crafts presently?

Will tell all my friends and family.

Will go to different art crafts festivals or shows when they come to Arkansas.

I have listed them at Etsy store.

Will have different parties for friends and people that I am associated with.

Also, I have done a page in Face book under the name of: BUGS AWAY Handmade Mesh Wine Covers

Will find more blog sides and stores where I can sell them.

Why are handmade crafts important to you?

I have been looking to see if I could find something about this idea, but could not find anything.

The only way to make this item is by hand in 3 different stages.
