What got you started crafting?
My mother. She was always telling me what a great eye I had. So one day I sat down and tried to make a necklace, and I loved it!
What is your source of inspiration?
Water. It is so simple yet so beautiful, and that is what I try to show in my jewelry.
What have you made recently?
My sister's birthday was just a bit ago on Earth Day. When I realized I did not have a gift for her I sat down right away and got to work! A few hours later I came up with a brilliant little necklace that brings out her style.
Where do you sell your crafts presently?
I sell most of my items on Etsy.com (amorejewellery.etsy.com) but during the summer I plan on being a part of many art fairs/craft shows!
Why are handmade crafts important to you?
I think a better question would be why not handmade? Handmade items have love and craftsmanship you don't find in store bought items. Besides, who wouldn't want to do something they love for a living!
