I’ve been crafting every since daycare when I won a drawing contest! I think I won a dime, or was it a quarter I can’t remember! Maybe I’m telling my age. I think I’ve tried just about everything within my reach except crochet which I think I wouldn’t have the patience for!

What got you started crafting?
I've been crafting every since daycare when I won a drawing contest! I think I won a dime, or was it a quarter I can't remember! Maybe I'm telling my age. I think I've tried just about everything within my reach except crochet which I think I wouldn't have the patience for!
What is your source of inspiration?
I love things that make me happy, color makes me happy, unusual color combinations make me happy. I have a simple aesthetic, I don't like anything too complicated. I'm inspired by the simple process of making things and the joy that its brings me. I'm inspired by the tinge of yellow the sun gives the trees. I love the process of art sometimes more than the art, I want to touch and feel and know how something was made. Ok now I'm rambling!
What have you made recently?
I recently discovered stamping, I've always wanted to try it! I've been playing around trying to see how I can incorporate it into my cutouts. Oh and glitter, my new glue pen is wonderful you can write or draw and then glitter what you've drawn. I've made some cute new hand stamped collage tags that can be used in journaling or scrap booking!
Where do you sell your crafts presently?
I sold a line of jewelry on ebay for a few years which did very well, then slowly I got more into art which had always been a joy to me. Now I sell on etsy and craft shows in my local area.
Why are handmade crafts important to you?
I love handmade, its authentic, and infused by the makers soul. It's sort of an imprint of people and the things we were born to do.
