My inspiration comes from all around, a color that I can’t seem to get out of my head, a decoration that I am obsessing about, random things that my family says in passing it all goes into how I create.
Never get tired of Mexican food, the spicier the better.
I talked to animals like they are people.
Betty White is one of my heroes along with my Mom, Grandmother & Sister (believe me that is great company)
What got you started crafting?
Have always been creative and loved crafting as a kid. My Mom and Grandmother were always making something, so in between playing outside and playing with the pets I got bit by the craft bug. The need to be creative has followed me throughout my life.
What is your source of inspiration?
My inspiration comes from all around, a color that I can't seem to get out of my head, a decoration that I am obsessing about, random things that my family says in passing it all goes into how I create.
What have you made recently?
I recently made a piece using Rhodonite, Calcite and Serpentine, not usually the colors that I gravitate towards, but something made me grab those stones. When I got it on the vintage bronze plated wire and woven it all came together beautifully, with light and dark and warmth all combined. There is something about the depth of the green serpentine and pink rhodonite with the light buttery-ness of the calcite that is just gorgeous.
Where do you sell your crafts presently?
At this time I sell through Etsy.
Why are handmade crafts important to you?
I love the stories that go with handmade, even if they aren't stated, that story still exists with the piece.
