We love PopLove!
Are you ready to start wearing fashionable, sustainable clothing that doesn’t make you look like you belong in the gym?
Andrea Hughes and Shai Wallach
-PopLove is run by Andrea Hughes and Shai Wallach
-All our photography is done in-house
-We very much miss Alexander McQueen
-We've been all over the world, but the internet brings us closer to our friends & family
What got you started crafting?
It was a natural progression for both of us. Andrea has been playing with making clothes since she was young, and Shai came from an art and photography background, so when we joined forces, PopLove was sure to be something amazing.
What is your source of inspiration?
We've both come from different areas of the fashion market, so we've seen the mind-boggling amount of waste that major companies produce. We decided it was time someone started making FASHIONABLE sustainable clothing. Too much of what's considered sustainable is yoga-wear, why shouldn't it be beautiful as well as eco-friendly?
What have you made recently?
We're working on some new pieces right now inspired by geometry. They're going to be amazing. Working with recycled materials can be tricky, so we're trying a more backwards approach, starting with some basic shapes to get the most out of our materials.
Where do you sell your crafts presently?
We sell online via Sense Of Fashion, Erayo, and of course Etsy.
We also sell in local boutiques, so if you're ever in Tel Aviv, drop us a line and we'll tell you how to find us!
Why are handmade crafts important to you?
Again, we're all about sustainability, and small runs are always more eco-friendly.
