The best part of making individual sized pies is learning all the fun uses people have for them. We just made some apple pies with “World’s Best Teacher” labels for mom to give to her kids’ teachers instead of plain old apples.

What got you started crafting?

My husband and I have been cooking together since we got married 5 years ago. He took care of the main course, and I was in charge of dessert. He kept telling me that my crumble topped pies were so good I should sell them, and finally I decided to go for it.



What is your source of inspiration?

Food Network, everyone on Etsy and my own original little Kutie Pie - my daughter.



What have you made recently?

We just made 150 pies and decorated them wedding style for "The Knot" vendor appreciation event in NYC.





Where do you sell your crafts presently?

We do craft shows, but we mainly do direct sales to individuals getting married, real estate agents giving house warming gifts, and thoughtful people who really want to give a unique personalized gift.



Why are handmade crafts important to you?

You can't say anything better with a mass produced product than you can with something made with two loving hands.
