I am a chocolate lover, intuitive singer and electronic music composer.
What got you started crafting?
I have always been a crafty and creative one, since as long I could remember. I used to make the most crazy outfits for my barbie dolls, really wild steampunk creations, like a silver corset inspired by the ones that Jean Paul Gaultier made for Madonna in the early 90's!
What is your source of inspiration?
I am inspired by the shapes of nature, leaves, flowers and feathers. I imagine nature spirits and what they would look like and create clothing for them, it is really like my inner child is playing and expressing herself in my creative work.
Beautiful materials do inspire me, too, i just have to walk into one o my two favourite shops in Stockholm to get inspired, one of them is filled with the most beautiful silk fabrics and just the feeling of the exquisite material makes my creative spirit sing with joy! Another shop is filled with trims, laces and tassels in all the colours of the rainbow... wow!
What have you made recently?
I made some vests recently in very exclusive, high quality embroidered silk with ribbons and tassels.
I call them the Gypsy Princess vests, because they remind me of an enchanted, imaginary world with gypsies, tarot cards, magic and beautiful dancing gypsies.
They have a really exclusive but playful energy with lots of details and unique material. I love to make unique one-of-a-kind items that tell a special story.
Where do you sell your crafts presently?
I sell most of my crafts at my webshop on etsy, but also on parties, festivals and to friends and friends friends.
Why are handmade crafts important to you?
Handmade goods have a story, they have an identity of their own.
