Stacy’s paper bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages would make a unique and lasting impression on guests at your wedding. Her rose hairpieces and bouquets took my breath away – they look exactly like the real thing!

What got you started crafting?
I have been a crafter for as long as I can remember, however I started refining my craft as I planned my own DIY Wedding in October 2011. I created everything from the invites, decor, seating chart, cake stand, and more.
Following my wedding I posted my paper flowers in my Etsy shop to get a feel for the paper flower market. My Etsy shop went from a very slow card shop to a booming paper flower bouquet and accessory boutique almost overnight! This past year I have worked with over 70 brides worldwide, and have expanded my line of designs to include boutonnieres, corsages, Bridesmaid bouquets, toss bouquets, hair accessories, cake toppers, shoe clips, pennant banners and more! My love for this craft has grown exponentially each time I work with a new bride with new visions and dreams!
What is your source of inspiration?
My brides are my source of inspiration. Having worked with close to 100 brides, I have found that each bride comes to me with their own custom ideas and challenges to create the vision they are looking feature on the most important day of their lives. I encourage my brides to come to me with new ideas, and many have stepped up to the plate!
In my daily life, I must say that the wonderful world of Pinterest inspires me to lead the wonderful DIY life that I do! Its crazy how one little pin can make your life dreamlike!!
What have you made recently?
I have recently been crafting nursery wall art as my husband and I are awaiting the arrival of our first little one! I recently made a blog post about my initial designs - http://www.thelittleredbutton.ca/2013/01/25/the-pinterest-challenge-week-3-paper-canvas-art/
Another fun challenge I made was a Calendar Journal. This is a fun way to keep a one to two sentence daily journal! http://www.thelittleredbutton.ca/2013/01/09/tpc-calendar-journal/
On "The Little Red Button" side of things, I have been busy crafting bouquets and accessories for my 2013 brides. My most recent was a green and pink bouquet for a bride in Hamilton, Ontario - https://www.etsy.com/listing/121240321/paper-flower-bouquet-wedding-green-pink
Where do you sell your crafts presently?
I sell my bouquets and accessories in my Etsy store - The Little Red Button (http://www.thelittleredbutton.etsy.com) and advertise my love of the DIY life on my blog (http://www.thelittleredbutton.ca)
Why are handmade crafts important to you?
Handmade items are always crafted with love. Every artist has perfected their craft and ensures that it meets their standards before letting it loose in the world!
To me, handmade is a way to express yourself, whether you are the artist or the buyer! I often find myself going into a big box store to make a purchase, but I leave empty handed because I would rather find a unique design on Etsy!
Handmade is a way of life, and I wouldn't live it any other way!
