What got you started crafting?
I have been interested in crafts as far back as my memory goes... But studies took a precedence till after I got married... I got seriously involved in crafting with my husband's encouragement..
What is your source of inspiration?
Inspiration strikes at any time... I cannot pinpoint a particular source, but Indian art and architecture, the folk arts of India are a big source of inspiration to me...
What have you made recently?
I recently made a cuff style wire worked bracelet. It was inspired from an ethnic Indian enamel earring which featured a bird motif . The enamel colors were in green , red and black. So I used seed beads and crystals in those colors.
Where do you sell your crafts presently?
For the time being I sell mainly via my Facebook Page.
Why are handmade crafts important to you?
I used to draw and paint from an early age, and was used to gifting friends and family with my handmade cards and artwork... over the years, many of them started insisting on nothing but my handmade gifts... So the next step was selling my creations..and nothing is as personal as handmade. I also take pains to ensure that my creations are unique - and I do not repeat a design precisely.
