What got you started crafting?

My love of photography brought out the artsy side of me. I love greeting cards and decided one day that I wanted to try to make one myself. Been hooked ever since.

What is your source of inspiration?

I get inspired at the most random of times. I might be in the middle of cooking dinner and come up with an awesome idea. Other times I'll just be messing around on my bamboo drawing tablet and some up with something neat (that's how my Mother's Day flower card came to be).

What have you made recently?

I've most recently made an OWL greeting card design. I received an owl necklace for Christmas from my sister a few years back and ever since then have always had my eye on different types of owls. I wanted to make sure that these guys were bright and cheery, thus their vibrant colors. They make you happy just looking at them!

Where do you sell your crafts presently?

I sell primarily on Etsy and Craigslist. I've been asked a few times to do craft shows, but for now I am focusing on those two venues.

Why are handmade crafts important to you?

Handmade is fun! You get such a feeling of accomplishment when you finish an item. Double that and add excitement when someone wants to buy your item!
