Random Facts About You?I was born without wisdom teeth.
I have 5 sisters and all of our names begin with K.
I have visited every state except Alaska and Texas.
I have a freakishly acute sense of smell.
What got you started crafting?
I've always loved gemstones and collected them my whole life, and I've always been crafty and creative. I loved wearing handmade jewelry so one day I decided to try making it myself.
What is your source of inspiration?
The stones themselves always start my creative process, playing with them and putting different colors and shapes together.
What have you made recently?
I just finished making a group of bridesmaids earrings for a woman in Georgia. We worked together through dozens of emails coming up with a design and finding the right gemstone that would work for her budget and her color palette. I love doing stuff like that -- I like going on the hunt for quality stones at a great price, and I very much love the idea that something I touched and made will become a part of such a big day in someone's life.
Where do you sell your crafts presently?
To friends and coworkers, at smaller local craft bazaars, and online at ebay and etsy.
