I love to be a woman full of mistakes, because I have learned how to grow and stretch farther.
I'm an artist, a singer and songwriter.
I wish to communicate and inspire other business woman in Latin America.
Love to be around my fiancé, family and friends.
What got you started crafting?
It's simple, It was a "whisper" in my heart. As rare at is sounds, I describe it like that feeling of moving forward not knowing what was in front of me. It was a big step of faith. I'm a graphic designer and I was working at a great publicity agency. I left my job two years ago to re-invent my future. Knowing that this is my best time to risk it all and maybe in 20 years I will know the consequences of doing that change. So... ask me the same question on my 46 birthday!
What is your source of inspiration?
My inspirations are: colors, imagination, dreams, expressions of confidence and being a woman.
What have you made recently?
Oh, actually the Sweet Roses Bouquet is my recent item.
I was looking to make something crazy, fun and unique. When I was a girl I dreamed about a colorful bouquet filled with special roses. So, a few days ago I took a seat and went crazy with my hands and scissors - unveiling this felt creation. It's not only a bouquet, you can also detach all the flowers and share them with your friends, or use them in your hair. I'm 100% satisfied with it and hope that it blooms into someones' special hands soon.
Where do you sell your crafts presently?
I sell my projects on Etsy, and locally here in Puerto Rico in supporting local friends' shops.
Why are handmade crafts important to you?
My childhood memories are all about creating stuff with my mom and brothers. Sometimes music, many times manual crafting activities. My mom creates Soda Pop Can Souvenirs. She is my great inspiration, and taught me to love creating things that are full of value. I appreciate the process more than the price. For me is an honor to be able to recognize the work, the fulfillment and the joy of been one of handmade community sponsor.
