What got you started crafting?
Living a simple lifestyle on the boat when growing up, I was always into crafts. We used to make all of our Christmas ornaments and even sometimes our tree.
What is your source of inspiration?
Inspiration is all around and of course through memories from travels.
What have you made recently?
I was thrilled with the way my Crinkle Drop earrings came out. I use silver clay from Japan to make my jewelry pieces and is it always amazing to watch the transformation from dried clay to fine silver. I am wearing those earrings in the photo that I included.
Where do you sell your crafts presently?
I have created an online store for Bale & Twine™ to sell my limited edition handmade goods and support other artists.
Why are handmade crafts important to you?
I love the process of handmade. It is magical to see a material transform into something usable and of course there is nothing like giving the gift of handmade.
