Random Facts About You?

I have a bigfurrycat (funny that!) and a smallerfurrycat too
I used to work full time, 90+ hours a week and gave it up to make stuff!
I love making a painty, glittery mess
My ambition is to be a mad cat lady

What got you started crafting?

I have always loved making things. I often have waaaaaay too many ideas in my head and half finished projects lying about the place. I opened the website several months ago then quit my job because I hated it and am hoping to be able to continue doing something I love forever and ever and ever!

What is your source of inspiration?

Just about anything going. Anything pretty, colourful, bright, glittery, shiny and furry. I am a magpie in that I collect all things shiny.

What have you made recently?

Most recently branched out into wedding lines, including the handpainted fingerprint trees, I am doing my first wedding fair very soon, scary biscuits! I start with painting the canvas then pencil in a tree, normally changing it several times til I am happy with it, I paint it, repaint it then repaint the background colour to make sure all lines are as smooth as possible then I shiny it up with heat embossing and put names and dates on it to make it personal to whoever has ordered it.

Where do you sell your crafts presently?

My main outlet is my website. I set prices lower on there because there are less fees and you will always find more items on there to peruse trough. I also sell on Folksy (search Narrie) and Etsy (search Bigfurrycat)

Why are handmade crafts important to you?

Handmade rocks! Its got to be handmade for the personal, unique touch. People can be assured that there really is only one of whatever they buy. Even if I replicate, it will never be the same.
