Handmade goods really stand out from the mass produced for me – just by the nature of the handmade process every piece is unique, and small imperfections add to the character. You can also find some fantastic, unusual things design wise that are of fantastic quality – you know that the person making these things really cares.

My favorite materials are natural fibers – 100% organically grown cotton, hand spun and hand dyed wool and alpaca.
I love the character of handmade. I love knowing that someone really put heart and soul into creating the final product; it’s just so much more special than buying from a machine with no heart. : )
