It’s nerdy, but I believe in “made with love” : ) There is a special care that goes into each of my pieces. I want to create something well made and creative that the buyer will enjoy for years.

- I still watch cartoons on Saturday Morning
- I'm a terrible cook, but a great baker
- I can easily be sucked into hours of watching Investigation Discovery Channel
- I love being able to say "I made that" when someone complements my jewelry!
What got you started crafting?
I'm a former advertising exec was taking some time off to re-group.
I'm pretty crafty and creative, in my spare time I've always loved creating new things, making jewelry, re-finishing furniture, interoir design, fashion, and writing. I have always "crafted", but with more time, I began to get more serious.
What is your source of inspiration?
I have a consistant group of bracelets on my right arm that I never take off, it's pretty much superstition at this point. I like items that no one else has, totally unique and one of a kind. In my time off I started making bracelets for myself. As my friends and family caught on and started giving me feedback, I began to zero in on one type of style/market. I'm completely self taught, and no item is exactly like another. I just use the limited supply of whatever vintage beads/pieces I find.
What have you made recently?
My animal print and polka dot bangles are my favorite. Both prints are so "in" right now, and I love the sophisticated look the trade beads bring. Wearing two or three stacked together looks so chic.
Where do you sell your crafts presently?
I've started small, on Etsy, and hosted a few trunk shows with great success. Looking into starting at craft shows.
Why are handmade crafts important to you?
It's nerdy, but I believe in "made with love" : ) There is a special care that goes into each of my pieces. I want to create something well made and creative that the buyer will enjoy for years.
