What got you started crafting?
I've always love arts and crafts since at a younger age. I made my first piece of jewelry when I was 15 years old which was a choker made out of denim, ribbon, rhinestones and beads. I develop my skills in crafting by learning through books, magazines, online and also by experimenting it myself. I just love to design and create things, especially jewelry by exploring and using different types of materials as possible. Seeing the ideas you have come to life is just amazing!
What is your source of inspiration?
I'm inspired by life and things around me. I do like to look at some magazines to get an idea of the colors I want to use, because magazines have nice color palettes that they've used for its layout design. Sometimes, the idea that I have just 'pops out of nowhere!' and I straight away get my pen and paper to sketch it out. :D
What have you made recently?
I made this friendship bracelet which was inspired by summer. Since summer is all about neon colors, I decided to use four bright colors to reflect the theme which was pink, blue, yellow and orange. At both side of the bracelet, I've sewed a chain with a yellow colored thread which gives the bracelet look a bit edgy and modern.
Where do you sell your crafts presently?
Basically I sell my jewelry on my website. I've also attended local bazaar and art market to sell my jewelry, and was hoping to attend more of it in the future. At times, I like to give it as a gift to my family and friends.
