What got you started crafting?
A friend wanted a specific piece of jewelry which i made for her. From this, my range of outrageous and unique jewelry developed and the name StudioLeanne.
What is your source of inspiration?
I live across the road from the beach and this vista is where all my inspiration comes from. Stormy skies, the surf and sunsets provide the individual colours for each piece.
What have you made recently?
I recently designed 'Studio Rose'- a hand formed, stoneware rose. Each rose is hand shaped and no two are ever the same. It's large, it's bold and definitely one of a kind.

Why are handmade crafts important to you?
I love the process of handmade, i love the texture, the feel and the anticipation of seeing the unknown each time i open the door of my kiln. I love creating something unique and pushing the boundaries.
