Oh yes and did I mention we travel full time in a school bus that runs on propane??

The items I create are made from recycled materials, vintage buttons, beads, costume jewelry, and lace. I even have feather items made from feathers I’ve collected in our travels.

I travel full time with my family. 5gypsykings dot com. I'm terrified of driving in vehicles.... but I travel full time. My need to travel is greater that my fear.

What got you started crafting?

I grew up with my mother always making things. My mothers family traveled overseas when my she was in her late teens to teach recreation and crafts. I suppose crafting is just in my blood. I started after the birth of my twins as mommy time and it has become so much more.



What is your source of inspiration?

My children inspire me, life nature inspires me... and when all else fails I look to etsy and all the talents crafters around the world.



What have you made recently?

I've been making single stem flowers, planning a beautiful bridal bouquet in my head.





Where do you sell your crafts presently?

I hock my wares online, and at local craft shows as we travel. I also have my flowers in several stores cross the US.



Why are handmade crafts important to you?

Why not? I recently when into David's Bridal (as I'm trying to break into the bridal market) to see what they are selling and cost compare. I was so very disappointed to see the outrageous prices on crap. Seriously... the products were cheaply made and so very expensive.

I would love to create handmade heirloom pieces for brides using swatches of mothers, grandmothers dresses, family lace, and costume jewelry they have for half the cost.
