What got you started crafting?
I have always been attracted to "artsy fartsy" things in my dads words. When I was 5 I started sewing, picked up crochet from a babysitter when I was in 2nd grade and quickly after that, tried every crafty thing I could get my hands on. My father is a contractor so he let me work with power tools from a young age :-) Most of my furniture in my house is at least 30% made by me.
What is your source of inspiration?
Colors and feelings. To me, they are the same thing. Most of the time I am a mellow easy going green or blue so many of my designs follow in those colors :-)
What have you made recently?
I recently put together a custom order for 7 bridesmaids necklaces and earrings in vibrant loud colors. The bride wanted a "quiet moment" for herself and wanted each of her bridesmaids to wear a different brightly colored necklace and earring set to help set off her quiet moment in white. For the bride I made a glowy soft white freshwater pearl necklace with a carved white jade rose pendant and thick white satin ribbon tied it up at the base of her neck.
Where do you sell your crafts presently?
I sell my jewelry on Etsy, I sell crocheted clothing and accessories at craft fairs and at my moms store in the Bay Area.
