What got you started crafting?
My mom signed me up for this program that sent crafts in the mail. It used to send me a craft project every month; once I out grew that I just started to find my own crafts and embrace my creative side.
What is your source of inspiration?
I am inspired by nature and history, although when I am designing I never really use that as an inspiration. I use my supplies as my inspiration and create what I feel goes well together.
What have you made recently?
I made a wrist cuff that is completely hand sewn with beading and everything. I sewed the edges of the lace on a piece of fabric and then hand stitched some seed beads around the design of the lace. I then sewed it up and added some ribbon as a closure. My personal touch is just to be me and not try to copy any one else. I love how everything about this cuff is completely hand sewn - not a machine in sight!
