What got you started crafting?
It all started out as a hobby to pass the time, we manage an office together and there is a lot of down time. Someone said we should try selling our things on Etsy and before we new it we were! We love making new creations and sharing those creations with others.
What is your source of inspiration?
Living in the pacific North West you don't have to look far for inspiration. We are constantly inspired by nature and the beautiful surroundings in which we live. We also draw a great deal of inspiration from old broken down antiques and items that people just don't use like they use to.
What have you made recently?
We have recently entered a new realm of our business and have opened up an apparel shop online where we are now selling hand printed apparel for the whole family. We are making everything from t-shirts and baby onesies to scarves and tote bags and are really excited about how they are all turning out.
Where do you sell your crafts presently?
We started out just selling on Etsy, but we now also have our own personal website, and we also sell at a number of other online venues as well as shops and boutiques around the country. This summer we hope to explore the unknown and test the waters at a few Saturday markets.
Why are handmade crafts important to you?
We love the unique look handmade items and their ability to capture a style, feel and honesty that mass produced items just can’t mirror. We love the subtle flaws and imperfections that makes every piece its own unique work of art.
