We both work in fashion designing apparel, and began Cold Picnic after a long summer of scouring library booksales for craft and history books. We got inspired by both, and began making jewelry from leather with the aim of trying to use as many reclaimed materials as possible.
Stop and smell the flowers, open your eyes and see the colors of spring, listen to birds and sing along, breathe, smile, love, laugh.
It is so great to see how many people there are out there that feel it a genuinely worthy cause to support and encourage the handmade/crafting/indie-designer movement. In all honesty, its one of the very things that gives me hope and keeps me going!

A lover of black, this Quebec native in inspired by everything around her from nature to furniture to her busy life with three kids.
