I love handmade items because each one, even if it’s one of a hundred you have made, is a unique piece of art. I think it’s more fun to support other artists than just to buy something from a huge chain store.

What got you started crafting?
I started crafting 5 years ago when I joined Deviantart and made my very first (and TERRIBLE) fruit charms after seeing some other clay works on the site.
What is your source of inspiration?
I am always inspired by anything kawaii or Japanese. Food and cute animals are also big inspirations for me.
What have you made recently?
I recently made some cute bear necklaces! I made their heads from a Sculpey mold so they are all the same size and then added on ears, bows, and fruits/hearts/cookies. After they're baked, I make sure to secure the jump loop with gorilla glue and then once that has dried, its time to paint and glaze! I'm a total perfectionist when it comes to painting, especially with the little faces and other details.
Where do you sell your crafts presently?
I sell my crafts on my online shop and soon will be selling at various conventions.
Why are handmade crafts important to you?
I love handmade items because each one, even if it's one of a hundred you have made, is a unique piece of art. I think it's more fun to support other artists than just to buy something from a huge chain store.
