What got you started crafting?
I have always loved the arts--since pre-school I think. When I found Etsy I was ecstatic. I went crazy purchasing (and still do) but realized I could do what I love and hopefully one day "quit my day job!"
What is your source of inspiration?
Nature, Quotes, Jewish Culture, Pop Culture
What have you made recently?
One recent creation was a 1/2" sterling silver disc, hammered around the edge and hand stamped in Hebrew with the word "Ima" meaning "Mom." It was actually a request from a client, as many of my pieces have been! This piece has a very organic quality due to the hammering technique and a simple, sophisticated style perfect for Mom to wear daily.
Where do you sell your crafts presently?
Right now I sell online at Etsy.com. I hope to begin participating in local craft fairs soon!
Why are handmade crafts important to you?
Handmade has that extra special touch. You know someone took the time to use their mind and hands -- to create! I love when I see a piece--whether a painting, wire-wrapped necklace or ceramic bowl and know someone has spent hours creating. I can appreciate the work and talent that goes into handmade and its un-perfect perfectness.
