My bunnies provide a great source of inspiration, along with nature. My bunnies provided inspiration for my best seller, the ‘keep calm and give nose rubs’.
Louise Garbutt
I am dyslexic.
I have eight rescue rabbits.
I volunteer teaching old people who to use computers.
Be nice to everyone, as everyone is fighting some sort of battle.
What got you started crafting?
My Nanna.
She taught me how to knit and crochet when I was a child. Life then got in the way as I grew up. Although I did do a photography course, and that has been a passion for many years.
I then moved in with my Nanna, after my granda died, to look after her and keep her company. To do this I left my job and moved across the country back to my home town. With lots of free time, I used craft to fill my free time, and it has now taken over my life.
What is your source of inspiration?
My bunnies provide a great source of inspiration, along with nature. My bunnies provided inspiration for my best seller, the 'keep calm and give nose rubs'.
What have you made recently?
I recently started a screen printing course, which has been very interesting. For this I created a new bunny design, which merged the bunny silhouette with a new word art to created a gorgeous new bag.
Where do you sell your crafts presently?
I sell them through my website, which has a small shop, and I have a folksy shop.
Why are handmade crafts important to you?
I love hand made, its individual, and can not be re-created again very easily. I love being able to support other crafters in their business.
