My Grandmother sewed, knit and crocheted. My mother sewed knit, crocheted, scrapbooked, and quilted. My father crochets and can sew (but doesn’t). It was natural evolution for me to start crafting.
Elizabeth M. Duquette
I have been designing since I was 15.
I search the globe for the most fun and unique pieces to create my jewelry with.
I love jewelry (obviously)
I take all of my inspiration from nature and my surroundings.
What got you started crafting?
My Grandmother sewed, knit and crocheted. My mother sewed knit, crocheted, scrapbooked, and quilted. My father crochets and can sew (but doesn't). It was natural evolution for me to start crafting.
What is your source of inspiration?
Mostly nature, but I do sometimes take inspiration from current events such as the triple horror that just happened to Japan.
What have you made recently?
Recently I have gotten into making rings. Rings have always been my favorite piece of jewelry to wear.
Where do you sell your crafts presently?
I sell online only currently at http://ElizabethMD.etsy.com .
Why are handmade crafts important to you?
I believe in quality over quantity. So why would I buy something at Wal-mart when I can buy from someone who is just like me!?
