I believe that people want to buy something unique and different, rather than the same old factory made designs that can be seen wherever you go. Creating your own style gives me a great sense of satisfaction and achievement, and even more when I see other people enjoying my items.

If at first you don't succeed, try try again and persevere
I admire people who work hard and go out and succeed.
What got you started crafting?
I Love making things out of vintage and modern fabrics. I work from home in my spare room and do it in my spare time. I use fabrics bought from traditional sewing shops, also antique shops. If the linen looks beautiful then I will use it.
I started making so many things that I decided to try and sell them, only online at the moment but who knows.
What is your source of inspiration?
I get my inspiration from seeing so many beautiful handmade items and beautiful fabrics that I just want to make something different.
What have you made recently?
I recently made an apron among other things. Is is a reversible Apron with a pocket on both sides. I started making ones side and then decided to make it reversible, by adding pockets and vintage buttons. This stands out to me because of the beautiful colours.
Where do you sell your crafts presently?
I sell online at Etsy, and also Folksy. I also have a Facebook business page linked to Folksy. I also sell to people I know, as well as family and friends.
Why are handmade crafts important to you?
I believe that people want to buy something unique and different, rather than the same old factory made designs that can be seen wherever you go. Creating your own style gives me a great sense of satisfaction and achievement, and even more when I see other people enjoying my items.
