All my tumbler sets match and have the same patterns, but each glass in the set is unique. Hand-painted glassware lets you feel the texture and the work that was done to create it.

LOVE dark chocolate! The darker the better!
What got you started crafting?
I love creating!! I always have. I was watching HGTV one day when I saw a bit on someone selling glass-painting kits / materials. I watched her paint some examples and I was instantly hooked! It's so beautiful and although I had never picked up a brush since I was a little girl I felt like I could do it! So I bought materials and a few books on glass painting. I watched Youtube and EHow videos on painting. I practiced and picked it up. Now it's a creative outlet and something I'm proud of!
What is your source of inspiration?
My inspiration comes from several things. Firstly, nature. It's so beautiful, how can someone NOT be inspired by it. I love painting it on my glassware. Second, I love designs / patterns. Classy and elegant patterns are what I like to have in my own home. I just try to paint something I could see myself using.
What have you made recently?
Just last night I painted the "Summer Daisy" design. It is my favorite design to date. It has "summer" written all over it. The colors and type of flower are bright and fun. You can purchase it in a tumbler + pitcher set or just the four tumblers by themselves. I can picture myself entertaining guests for a lunch on the patio using this set. I love it!
Where do you sell your crafts presently?
I sell my glassware on my website.
I'm also using a beautiful consignment shop in town to sell as well. It's a fun way to be involved in the community.
Why are handmade crafts important to you?
Handmade means you get something that is one of a kind! There is not nor will there ever be an exact duplicate. All my tumbler sets match and have the same patterns, but each glass in the set is unique. Hand-painted glassware lets you feel the texture and the work that was done to create it.
