It really amazes me how beautiful a handmade piece is made when you look at the detail. You can really see how much that person put so much time into what they love because it shows.

What got you started crafting?
I have always loved fashion and really was into becoming a fashion designer growing up. It wasn't until I went to beginner's jewelry class and made my first beaded necklace and totally rocked it..Then, that was it I was hooked. I was a beadin' fool.
What is your source of inspiration?
My inspiration comes from everywhere:
My life
* Friends/family
* Fashion trends
* Magazines/Blogs
* Music/Music Videos
* Art
What have you made recently?
I am currently working on a new jewelry line for fall/winter 2013 called, "Journey". This line is inspired by the journey that I go through life and how God gets me through it all. My mask ring is about taking off the mask that you feel like you have to wear and being yourself. I can't wait to show everyone the new line.
Where do you sell your crafts presently?
Right, now I sell my handmade jewelry through bonanza.com an online shop. Recently, I sold some of my jewelry through a local store on consignment and in the winter will plan to participate in some local flea markets and craft shows.
The website is something that I am currently working on.
Why are handmade crafts important to you?
Why Handmade....hmm, why not. Handmade to me means creativity, imagination, love and honesty. It's about being honest enough to tell the story behind your piece (whatever that piece may be). It really amazes me how beautiful a handmade piece is made when you look at the detail. You can really see how much that person put some much time into what they love because it shows.
