What got you started crafting?
I got started when I saw my cousin making jewelry, post cards and melting wine bottles to decorate her home and sell to family and friends. She gave me some tips and materials to start off and then i took various art classes.
What is your source of inspiration?
My source is first of all nature, also I look around magazines, stores and the internet (of course). Daydreaming is a common denominator.
What have you made recently?
I recently made flip flops out of foam and string, I added a flower on top to make it extra special. For support, I sewed the string and flower to the foam and then glued it to the post card. I used blue scrap-booking paper to cover the imperfections of the flip-flop and add a summer feel.
Where do you sell your crafts presently?
I sell them personally among friends and family. Soon I'll be selling them in my university.
Why are handmade crafts important to you?
First of all - I like doing things myself; it brings me joy and a sense of relaxation. Also, things turn out cheaper if I make them. It also adds an "I care about the environment" feel to it.
